The Light Is Bright

The light is bright
but my heart is at peace.
Pain I feel no more.
My loved ones will miss me,
but my sorrow has ceased
as my spirit begins to soar!
As I met my Savior,
He holds me close
as a father comforts a child.
I know my loved ones
will miss me,
but for my sake,
I hope they remember to smile!
I’m in a place
where sorrow doesn’t exist
and the glory of God shines bright!
So let’s celebrate the Lord
for making a place for souls to go
when to this world, they say,
“Goodnight”.
