The Master’s Call

I’m sorry I had to leave you,
my loved ones oh so dear.
But you see, the Master called me,
His voice was very clear.
I had made reservations,
a heaven bound ticket for one.
And I knew that he would call me when he felt my work was done.
I know that your hearts are heavy,
because I have gone away.
But when the Master called me,
I know that I could not stay.
Yes, I am sorry I had to leave you
my loved ones oh so dear.
But you see the master called me and
now I am resting here.
Yes, I’ve crossed over to Glory,
and to you all I say…
Just stay in the hand of Jesus,
and we’ll meet again someday.

Wishing you a rainbow For sunlight after showers— Miles and miles of Irish smiles For golden happy hours— Shamrocks at your doorway For luck and laughter too, And a host of friends that never ends Each day your whole life through!
May God be with you and bless you, May you see your children’s children, May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings. May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.
