After Glow

I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.

Remember me whenever you see a sunrise, Remember me whenever you see a star, Remember me whenever you see a rainbow, Or woods in Autumn colors from afar; Remember me whenever you see the roses, Or seagulls sailing high in a sky of blue; Remember me whenever you see the waves Shining in the sun […]
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow.Remember the sky, the laughter, the smiles, I’ve only gone to rest a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief! So dry your eyes and remember me. Not as I am now, […]
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come to me.”
May God give you… For every storm, a rainbow, For every tear, a smile, For every care, a promise, And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, A faithful friend to share, For every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer for each prayer.
