The Light Is Bright

The light is bright
but my heart is at peace.
Pain I feel no more.
My loved ones will miss me,
but my sorrow has ceased
as my spirit begins to soar!
As I met my Savior,
He holds me close
as a father comforts a child.
I know my loved ones
will miss me,
but for my sake,
I hope they remember to smile!
I’m in a place
where sorrow doesn’t exist
and the glory of God shines bright!
So let’s celebrate the Lord
for making a place for souls to go
when to this world, they say,
“Goodnight”.

May brooks and trees and singing hills Join in the chorus too. And every gentle wind that blows Send happiness to you.
